This was an awesome book! Mindfulness For Kids: Create a Happier Life For Your Kids Today by Jasmine Warren is filled with very informative information on mindfulness and how to help your children, as well as yourself, achieve it. One of my favorite things about this book is that it separates the different exercises and activities by different age groups, which I found super helpful because I have little ones and a lot of the activities for older kids wouldn't be helpful at this point. With exercises that work well for your little ones and even for your teenagers, this book is sure to be helpful for any parent. There are even good exercises and lots of useful information to help with kids who may have anxiety or ADHD or any other behavioral issues to also achieve mindfulness. The author also wrote this book in a smooth, easy-going tone, making this an easy as well as fun read. I highly recommend this read to any parent or educator or even someone who is just looking for an easy to read book about mindfulness.

A very helpful guide to teaching your children how to use the mindfulness method. The author does a wonderful job with breaking down each part and walking the parent through each step. The author does a great job of providing details when needed and you really can understand the point that she is attempting to get across. This guide definitely helps my husband and I to teach our children how to use the mindfulness method in life. I will be using this book to help my son manage his anger with his siblings and to handle issues outside of the home as well. This book really helped me under the methods behind mindfulness and how I can use it with my children and further my own use of the program. This is a great book to introduce both adults and children to the mindfulness program and help with learning it.

Her teaching will allow you to educate children to be mindful of how their emotions can hurt others, or themselves.More and more children are also dealing with the stress of abuse, without understanding what they are dealing with, or how to handle what has happened to them. Harnessing inner anger and anxiety and understanding how to deal with these emotions will allow them to open up and get the help they need. As a parent or teacher, the approach in handling these emotions correctly will permit the child to begin the healing process. Whereas, the wrong behavior could cause extensive damage.

As a mom of a toddler I am drawn to the concept of teaching kids mindfulness while striving to create happier kids. I love the ideas presented in this book and plan to implement them with my own children as well as in the child care setting. I recommend this book to parents and those who work with children. I believe these concepts are important for helping kids learn how to better deal with their negative emotions and feelings. In the long run it will make not only happier kids but as they get older and progress into adult hood, they will be happier and more mindful adults. In today’s world I feel like we can all benefit drastically from more people implementing these strategies with their children at a young age, and would see a vast difference in the world in the world around us as the new generation grows.
