Phillip is your stalwart businessman who does not assign time for play. Is agenda for years is all about business from sun up to sunset. Then a chance meeting with a potential business man's daughter has him really thinking about personal time and the chance to pursue her. Molly has not had a wonderful childhood, with self absorbed parents and being put down constantly has contributed to a low self esteem.But something about Phillip has her opening up to him and these raw and intense emotions he brings out in her. Then after a while, he does not have time for her and his secretary is behaving possessive of him and doing everything to imply something more between them, other than that of a working relationship. One incident had her walking out on him and filing divorce papers.Phillip not knowing why she left and filed for divorce is at home worried about her and trying to locate her to bring her home.
5 Stars Fantastic!OK, this author is great. She tells you at the start of her book what the reader is to expect SO when you do continue to read, it is exactly what she says it is!!!!!!This story was fast, it was sweet n very sexy, the male was total ALPHA all the freaking way and YES it was over the top and guess what, I LOVED every second of it, lolThese books are great for the in between the drama and angst filled books. Her books are a great way to "cleanse" your mind and yet in a very sexy and dirty sort of way:)If you are looking for over the top, alpha males with a dirty sexy story then these are the books for you. Her H and h's are always great and the storylines never cease to amaze me!
Phillip is so in love with his wife, Molly, it has become an obsession. He wants to give her everything her heart desires, protect her from all harm, and have her all to himself. The problem is he doesn't want her to fill smothered. She's ten years younger and has a lot of life to live, but he's only living when he's in her presence.Molly is feeling insecure. She doesn't fit into her husband's world or home. She wants the life and dream home he promised her. She doesn't want the marriage her parents had, and she feels her marriage is already headed that way.A misunderstanding and an accident force the newlyweds to face their insecurities and to communicate those insecurities to their spouse.I really loved the connection between Phillip and Molly. His feelings, devotion, for her are heartwarming. His character makes the book.
Molly cannot believe what she just saw in her husbands office but she will not stick around or let him off easy. She just needs time to get her emotions under control. Phillip is exhausted working tirelessly over the last several months to get his company in order so he can retire and devote all his time to making babies with his beautiful wife. But when he gets home he finds a note and can’t find his wife! Devastated and desperate Phillip will go to any length to find and bring his wife back!This is not a full length book but long enough for the storyline, which is great. Obsessive, alpha male craziness, ensues and its super steamy. It’s well written and worth the price. Enjoy!
Ms. Riley has done it again! This is a very short read and I really wish it was longer. The plot is very rushed but that is because we're coming in after the hero got the heroine. The problems begin after the marriage and due to little communication between the couple. This has some real life issues and how miscommunication and no communication can blow up after small things happen that seemed to be one thing when they're really another. I don't want to spoil the story but this started off Breaking My Heart but the ending made it all worthwhile. I would definitely recommend this book to someone who would like a short romantic light-hearted read that has a little bit of a mess and drama but that's it
Mr and Mrs pretty much reminds me of some of the older Harlequin novels I used to sneak from my mom and read.However, add in your typical AR OTT alpha and the naive little virgin and you have what some would consider a match made in heaven.I personally didn't care too much for the couple already being together. One of the things I love getting to read about in AR's books is the meeting and the alpha male tripping over his own feet to get the females attention...or stealing her away =)The misunderstanding between Molly and Phillip was pretty dumb. Especially considering the entire time after everything was cleared she kept pointing out how she should've known he would never to anything like her father
This started out with Molly thinking that her husband was pulling away from her. She has been trying to get pregnant. One night she goes to his work to talk and finds him in a compromising position. She leaves. For months she is gone. But in the day she decided to go back she has an accident. Phillip has been hiding something but not what she thought. With her amnesia he now has a chance to win her back. This was a quick steamy read.
This is one of my favorite books to date.. every single time i think they cant possible top this, the next book does and it blows me away. Talk about the power of love.. it has everything you could possibly want in an Alexa book. Insta love, Alpha, minimal angst and flawless and hot scorching sex that makes you tremble and have to put that book down for a few min. The characters are believable, and in turns infuriating and fun, and i loved seeing how devoted he was to her and their love. I also loved seeing how all of it happened though her eyes and how it just because you see something, does not necessarily make it so. Sometimes you just need to talk to the other person. Frankly this goes in my go to re-read story and i cant wait for more!
