I have been making a variety of felt characters recently (usually from a book with my own materials.) The felt kits by Aimee Ray have been a fun way of making small soft toys for my grandchildren in the characters that they enjoy. My grandson is getting very interested in superheroes, so this Marvel set works great for him. He also would like some villains so he can battle with them. I'm hoping there will at some additional sets in the series as there are so many characters that could be added. I've seen that there will be a Disney Princesses kit and a Woodland Critters kit coming out later this year.These are the characters you can make with this kit: Ironman, Falcon, Rocket Raccoon, Black Widow, Hulk, She-Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Spider-Man and Doctor Strange.While the kit lists the materials needed to complete each project, it does not include a master content list. Here is what the kit contains:Felt included: large size – red, green and black; medium size – brown, gray, white, peach, yellow, red, and blue; and small size – purple.Six-stranded Embroidery Floss included: black, red, blue, brown, gray, green, purple, yellow and white.Also included: Templates for each character in a lightweight card stock, small format instruction booklet, a sharp point embroidery needle, and two packs of stuffing (one large and one half size.)I own a couple of the crochet kits by Thunder Bay. Unlike those kits (which only included material for 2 projects out of 12), this kit is supposed to contain the materials you need to make all 10 of the characters.The instruction booklet gives a decent instruction on the various hand sewing and embroidery stitches that are needed to finish the characters. Each stitch also has a visual diagram as well. If you have not embroidered or hand sewn before, you might want to pick up an inexpensive skein of floss and practice on a piece of material before attempting it on the felt.

This kit was so much fun! I don't have much sewing experience but it was still pretty easy to make - just the eyes are tricky for a novice, but since they are so whimsical looking mistakes just add to the charm. There is enough felt to make each character 1X but enough stuffing for 3x the amount of characters. I bought extra felt at the craft store and made a War Machine from the Iron Man template and a Winter Soldier using the Black Widow template.

I have done a lot of felt kits and I loved this one. The templates are correctly sized and they give you all the supplies (plus a little more) of what you need to make every character. I made each one for a loved one and they all flipped out with excitement.

These are adorable! I saw the kit and HAD to get it. I was looking for a nice hobby to do and this came in handy. I recommend that you do need to know basic sewing and embroidery techniques, but instructions are provided if not. All materials needed were in there with some leftover. This was totally worth buying. Loved it!

These are so cute!! I love the stuff Aimee Ray makes. It was super fast getting to me also.

Great kit and small but incredible improvements to the packaging from the Star Wars kit such as templates organized by character. Box was a little beat up when it arrived but I will reflect that on shipping not the product.

The new Marvel Felt was an amazing kit that really allowed you to connect with your kids in a brand new way. I found that my daughter and I spent hours creating some very cool Marvel characters. I chose to make Captain America and she chose to create Spider Man. While it took a few hours for us to cut out and sew together the finished project the time went by quickly and we had a ton of fun working together. This is an amazing kit that no matter who your favorite Marvel character is, you have the opportunity to create it for yourself. Such a fun activity to do with your family! I highly recommend this kit to all!

I did something rare--I pre-ordered this book. And I promptly forgot about it until vol. 9 was downloaded into my 1st gen paperwhite device. But it was worth the wait!The aptly named Visitor Arc introduces a new element--the United States of North America (USNA). The author jumps through hoops to introduce important characters from USNA and take them to Japan for a meet-and-greet with Tatsuya and co. (or not). Heh.This volume picks up after the events of the Yokohoma arc, with an emphasis on Tatsuya's personal involvement raising alarms across the big pond. The story can, admittedly, be tough to follow at times because the author spends time setting up a possible major conflict between USNA and Japan by jumping around through various POVs. To a certain degree, Tatsuya, the main character in this series, became a bystander (and he's perfectly happy with that). Hence, the title of this review.The saving grace for this book, though, is how the author sets up a certain conflict in the latter half of the book and nails the execution.Vol. 9 of the Irregular at Magic High School introduces a new foreign element and introduces an important new character to the series whose character flaws can be comedic at times. If you're a fan who had read the previous eight releases in this series, this book will be delightful to you.

Names were used in both the anime and the Light Novels and now these people appear. It is exciting and the twists of fate keep Tatseya and his sister in the center of the action. A unique problem comes to Japan and the USNA Magical Combat Teams are not far behind. Great reading and a page turner that leaves you wanting the next volume NOW! (Volume 10 won't be due out until December 18, 2018 with Volume 11 coming in mid-March of 2019!)

Let me just start by saying that this book was absolutely great, but there’s a but coming.This is the third and final book of the series and while the first two books were so amazing, the third book just feels so rushed and underdeveloped. So much new information was just randomly being shoved out, it felt like the story was scrambling to fit everything in. All this new information about the characters back stories was being forcefully regurgitated before the book ended.The ending was good and everything was being tied together, the bad guys were meeting their end, the good guys saving the day, BUT the story just felt so rough and forced. It didn’t flow smoothly, there were so many new discoveries popping up that it really gave a feeling of the white rabbit from Alice in wonderland running and calling out, “I’m late!” This could easily have been separated into two books and given a more satisfying flow and end. That being said, the story was still wonderful and I liked it a lot!

This is a very cute series! Although not what I was initially looking for. I personally like a bit more in the romance department whereas this remained kind of juvenile but I expected that since the main characters were young but still gave the series a shot. I'm glad I did. It was great for what it was and everything worked out so well in the end. This a great series for teens and adults that like a PG paranormal romance!

Such a good ending. Everything wrapped up nicely and not necessarily easily either. It wasn't just "slapped" together. I would love to see them 5 years down the road too, see what is happening but I don't need to either. Very good story

What a great ending to a unique series! With a possible spin-off, I’m excited to see what could come next and if we get more of all these lovable characters.
